Will either providers or hobbyist do anything different to avoid LE? Maybe a safe word?

May have written my last work of fiction (reviews), and probally won't be shopping much versus staying with who I know I can trust. Not much ya can do but be careful, and no Toftt. Best to lay low until this dies down.

If one acts all nervous and suspicious then, people will start ask questions. May that be in an in call apartment, hotel room, etc. This goes for both providers and hobbyists.

I took a lot of stuff of my site, including my donation page. I am strongly considering creating a member's only site.

These changes warrant attention but all should still be mindful that no matter how draconian the laws drafted by NC’s bible thumping legislator, when it comes to enforcement wherewithal, LE’s resources are still finite and will likely continue to be predominately directed to curbing egregious offenses involving children and sex trafficking.

Agencies who have affluent regulars for clientele as Hush Hush did a few years back understand that there’s always the potential for them to become desirable targets for political purposes also. By and large however, low hanging fruit will always remain LE’s top priority (i.e. backpage page stings and busts on high volume providers who attract attention operating in seedy motels and residential areas, etc).  

All this having been said, everyone should be heedful of the increased penalties discussed at length in the earlier thread and should remain vigilant.  

No single safety measure is infallible but if everyone on both sides practices good behavior collectively, risks will remain at an infinitesimal level.  

For gentlemen, this means doing your homework ahead of time, burner phone, practicing proper etiquette once you arrive with respect to donation and discussion, etc. For what its worth, I also try to build rapport while corresponding by email ahead of time to at least exhibit that  I’m personable and not come across as if I’m scheduling an appointment with the DMV.

For ladies, it means continuing to screen appropriately, reconsidering face pics and continuing to use disclaimer laden ads that never flagrantly advertise services.

In light of the new law’s internet solicitation addendum, it might not hurt to re-examine the practice of using ads that even imply certain services as well, including everyone’s favorite wink-and-nod “activities enjoyed in private” section which more or less amounts to: Hey, looking forward to gracing you with my presence as an escort for strictly social purposes in a non-physical capacity….and by the way, in case you were wondering, some activities I enjoy in private are CIM, Greek, BBBJ and a half dozen other lascivious acronyms you’ll never see on ChristianMingle.com

Thankfully I haven't had any issues but I am no longer taking newbies as clients until I feel comfortable again. I am also considering removing my number from all ads. Removing my face isn't an option yet. I think my other assets are more noticeable besides my smile.

Now that would be an ironic twist.

Sorry, someone just pinched me and woke me up. If everybody is diligent in the hobby and goes about it the proper way the risks will be minimal. I won't be changing anything, and I will still not see any manatees, especially from Florida.
