As the board seems to be slow and in the spirit of encouraging some conversation here amongst our fellow hobbyist I'm gonna take it upon myself to start a new thread every week to help us all get to know a bit about eachother. Yeah I know it's kind of dorky, but what so you expect from the guy who brought you the sappy Vday post and the somewhat successfully licking the kitty thread?  Don't worry no dr Phil posts about feelings just cool to let personalities show around here.

So trying to be somewhat normal this week, what's you're favorite move and why?

Guess mine would be LA Confidential, I can watch anytime it's on. I love the whole 40s old school Hollywood setting for some reason. It had a main plot and a couple good side story's as well. Not a big Russel Crowe fan but does a great job in this movie portraying a tough cop with a soft spot for protecting women. Put all this with something very dear to my heart, high class escorts and I just can't hit the remote.

Anyways just my 2 cents be interesting to see what everyone says and maybe next week we'll get back to something similar to the "kitty" thread. (Can't have everyone thinking my minds always in the gutter)

Great love story combined with sarcasm and wit delivered perfectly by Melvin (Jack Nicholson) who in the end wins his love.

Tarantino is good, he actually a pretty good actor to loved him in Dusk till Dawn. He played that whack job so well. Speaking of those Tarantino type films remember Natural Born Killers? Pretty sure Oliver Stone directed that one but had the Tarantino feel to it. As for porn never been a big fan either live version much better good luck with the MFM. Probally would have to make an exception if that made it to video though :0)

I wouldnt know where to start.  So many films I do like, of course I do like action films like Die Hard and the like. Also mindless comedies like Blazing Saddles,  and of course the old films from the 30s 40s and 50s.

But my all time favorite has to be "Sixth Sense".

My favorite "move" is where my lady friend is riding cowgirl (either forward or reverse) and just as she hits bottom, she puts a little rotating grind in her hips to remind me she's all the way down.  Why?  'Cause it feels sooooo damn good!!!

If you're talking "movie" then it has to be this mindless classic.  After 2 viewings you'll have the script memorized.

I had to chime in on this one...can't let this thread go on without a nod to the Coen Brothers movies. They've got a bunch of great ones (Fargo, Raising Arizona, Barton Fink, etc.), but Millers Crossing takes the cake for me! The Prohibition era gangster drama is a favorite of mine...it was such a cool era in our history (the ladies were a whole different kind of sexy back then!) and this flick is a great representation of the time. Gabriel Byrne, Albert Finney, John Turturro...all excellent! And the score is incredible, truly capturing the mood throughout the entire film. If you missed this one, pick it up soon!

PS. Also with Byrne...The Usual Suspects is a classic!!!

One movie I can watch multiple times a year.

Honorable mention to Fletch, Pulp Fiction, The Game and many many others

As for porn I prefer the amateur stuff, just seems a little more realistic.

Thanks for pointing out my typo!! The move topic might have been a better thread idea though hard to get mad at someone for being a smart ass when their comment brings back such great memories of our lovely ladies!!

contemporary than many who have posted.  I still think the best movie I've ever seen is 'Beckett' from 1964, starring Richard Burton, Peter O'Toole & Sir John Gielgud, and based on a play by French dramatist Jean Anouilh; it's probably the best acted drama ever.  I also think Doctor Zhivago was wonderful, along with Lawerence of Arabia.  I do like comedies, but again tend to like old classics, like Dr. Strangelove & Monty Python & the Holy Grail.  I'm not sure the younger folks who didn't experience the nuclear standoff known as the Cold War could ever truly appreciate Dr. Strangelove.   For a (slightly) more modern comedy classic, Leslie Nielson's original Airplane had me laughing from start to finish.  Perhaps this post could encourage some of you younger folk to look at some great older movies.
