Hello Ladies & Gentlemen,
I would like to propose putting together a Carolinas M&G. Being relatively new to the Carolinas it would be wonderful to get to know a few of you delicious Ladies & Gentlemen.
To put you at ease, although I am relatively new here, I do have a good history in Mn where I was a provider for a few years. I organized a M&G there a few years back. It was a wonderful, safe gathering.
I chose an upscale strip club for our great meeting of the minds.
If there's enough interest, I would enjoy putting one together.
Screening would be required.
Sooo, Who wants to party???
Other areas have a lot of success with M&G's. It's a great way to get to know both hobbyists & providers who enjoy this hobby. I have heard from others that it is important to vary the times & places to accomodate everyone. While an evening event would work for some hobbyists, a lunch or a "happy hour" time would work best for others who can't get away at night.
I think we have some really great people in this hobby around the Carolinas and this would provide an outlet to develop "friendships" that would allow all of us to feel more comfortable with each other. I may be the only guy in "Hobbywood" that feels like this, but for me, deciding which provider to see is as much about a friendly, flirty "connection" as it is the over-all looks.
As long as timing & location work..........count me in!!! Feel free to PM me with any questions or thoughts you may have.
You took the words right out of my mouth. Population of Hobbywood just went to 2.
I'm glad I have some neighbors !!! It's awfully fun in Hobbywood........
Myself and mod Funtimes61 hosted one in Charlotte a couple of years ago. I've attended many. I had another one planned for last year. After months of heavy screening, getting together a final guest list of about 50-60 people, finding a private safe venue, catering, putting together hotel and area information for out of towners, the whole thing fell apart literally the day before.
Some dumbass hobbyist left his email open, or was plain clueless, and his wife got into it. And saw correspondence for the party. And according to numerous people, told her radio friend who promptly talked about the whole thing on the radio the next morning and the whole listening area was aware of a "hooker happy hour" being held somewhere in uptown Charlotte that night. I didn't believe the whole thing at first, but several people contacted me who said they heard it. On the areas most popular rock station no less. That meant LE could have easily heard it, and started nosing around at any private parties being hosted the next night uptown.
Because we weren't able to figure out which guy had his email compromised, or any good ideas for, or time for re-screening over 50 people, the party had to be cancelled. Dozens of people, both men who went to a lot of trouble to get out of the house/out of town and book rooms to attend, and ladies who were planning on being in town to work/attend, were all stuck and also out lots of money.
So! If you're going to plan a M&G, please be careful! I'm more than happy to offer any advise privately, and if you put one together I hope it goes great, but its definitely not something I personally would ever mess with again.
Mmm.....that hurts. However, I can see how it would happen & I can sure see why you feel the way you do. Maybe it would be better to limit the # to a smaller group. Less people = more security / control for everyone?? IDK, just thinking out loud & kicking ideas around. Some of the M&G's in LA are at lunch time & are limited to a couple of dozen people. Sometimes less is more. You can also "fly under the radar" a little better with a smaller group. I sure don't profess to have the answer, but I think it is worth brainstorming a bit to see if & who may want to participate.
M&G often have anywhere between 20-150 attendees. While its a nice idea that less people would mean more security, it only takes one person to mess everything up for everyone else. Anyway, I was just making a point that its very serious business to plan one of these, and anyone thinking about it should tread very carefully. They are fun, but a lot of work.
