Question on Making a appointment and no response from the providers?

Welcome to NC.  A few thoughts:

1. Why not use a local agency?  There are quite a few excellent ones  in Ral, WS, Gsboro areas.  I have used several agencies' services before, quick and easy verification.  Plus, when you return you are already set up.  And you can use local agencies for a references to set up with the independent ladies.

2. It is a holiday week/weekend.  Maybe the ladies are on vacation?

3. If you are using references in NY, DC, Miami etc, maybe they aren't responding or the local ladies don't feel like calling a NY/DC/Miami reference????

Some may be out with family.  They maybe even have a sign up saying " On vacation " Everybody needs time off.  

There are plenty still working, maybe you ought to cast the net out farther. And I am sorry you are stuck in North Carolina.  I personally like it here.  

I typically try to respond within 24 hours.
espeically if you have references etc.. But if you email me on a Holiday or a weekend
In most cases it will be Sunday evening or Monday before I get back to you..

I am assuming that you have sent a polite email and not something like
" Hey baby.. I am ready"

Those get deleted..

If I don't like the way someone comes across in an e-mail. I don't normally respond.

Also, I'm not from the state of North Carolina, but I will admit it is a beautiful state with many fun perks. Saying you're "stuck in North Carolina" may not be going over real well. Are you including that "stuck" part in your e-mails?

I moved back to NC a few months ago I have experienced the same or similar problem nycprg2010 indicated.  Either no response or a much delayed response.  But let me note that doesn't mean every provider fits into this category.  In fact, a few ladies I've corresponded to have been very responsive.

So there may be a few reasons why you have not received a response from the ladies here.  You have not provided all the required information the lady is requesting. You may have not included your provider contact info.  The references you provided are from agencies.  The references you provided are not members of P411 or DC.  The provider you contacted may only accept or trust references from ladies in the Carolinas. Some even don't see men of color.  It could be the ladies you contacted were already booked or busy and didn't check emails for additional appts. And if you are requesting an appt this week, she may have taken this week off for R&R and to spend the holiday with their family and friends.  These are a few possibilities, but it doesn't imply that it applies to the ladies you contacted.

Btw, just in case anyone is keeping score...I have seen providers in NC and there are some great providers in this area.  But making initial contact with some of the ladies can be a challenge.  You may want to plan ahead next time you visit NC.  This would allow the ladies with really busy schedules time to respond to you.  

So don't let a few "no responses" discourage you from trying to make contact with the ladies here.
