You aren't rating a restaraunt, you are more or less rating a human being. Our reviews are a lot easier to take personally when someone points out every little flaw about your appearance or personality, some things of which you can't do anything about. So if someone wants to write a review about an intimate experience I would rather it not be reduced to a bunch of acronyms and a cold, detailed description of all my defects.
I would never threaten anyone who reviewed me as such though, nor would I complain. Everyone has their own idea of what beauty and good performance is. All I can do is look through someone's reviews while screening and tell them I feel like I'm not for them if they seem to prefer a certain type and let them make the decision. As for the person who suggested a provider can delist if she doesn't like being reviewed, it's not as easy as you think.Hi both hobbyists and providers!
I recently had a rather heated conversation with one of the local providers on TER. She seems to have issues with the way I wrote my reviews, which I think I wrote everything honestly. The thing is she seems to think it will heavyly affect her income. Will a restaurant owner complain about the customers' reviews on yelp if the owner wants to improve the business? Probably not. I'm not trying to backstab anyone, but simply I chose to be honest. My analogy might not be entirely appropriate, but my point is you shouldn't blame the customers for writing reviews. It is why we have this website. Instead of wasting time on threatening unsatisfied customers, you should spend your time more wisely.
As that being said, I never even wrote a review about this specific provider I talked to. She was kind of angry even before my plan of meeting her. Maybe she have a bad day or bad temper. Either way, I'm glad that I didn't choose to meet her.
Now ladies and guys, what are your thoughts on reviews? Especially those reviews written like erotic novels.
(I chose to post under an alias to protect my privacy. )

Just my opinion but the erotic novel reviews are to dressed up and pointless. I would rather get the cold hard facts instead of sifting through an entire erotic story but that's just me. I think many guys give better reviews on well known providers with enflated numbers so to keep them happy but again just my opinion.
If a provider does not like my review and it was honest then I look at it like it isn't my problem provided I was 100% truthful. Does not matter what you do in life, somebody will always get mad and not approve so I say just be honest and roll with how you feel.
The long drawn out erotic novels in my own opinion I still say are goofy and a huge waste of time as I usually just pass those by if other reviews are available. Some reviewers I see I don't even read them even if I'm interested in the girl as I realize it's more than likely going to be a long drawn out erotic sex novel that I could care less to read.
My other favorite are the guys who in every review have to mention how big their manhood is over and over in all the reviews. Those guys usually give me a laugh also as well.
I concur with most of your points. If a provider doesn't want to be reviewed, she can always choose to terminate her TRR profile.
The problem is people choose not to or allow themselves to be coerced into writing a bunch of fluff. I try to be as honest as possible when I write my reviews, sure some may not like the romance novel type, but overall I am giving a playback of how I viewed the session. Skip what you don't want to read and focus on what you are looking for. As far as the provider, if she doesn't like the review then she needs to perform better, IMO that is due to reviewers not reviewing and the provider getting lax in her performance. If a lady wants a good review then she should perform, if not don't expect the review to reflect it. Your analogy is spot on, too many clients are wasting money on providers who provide subpar service and are continuing to do so because they are scared into not writing reviews. Good, bad or ugly I am going to write what took place. Funny how these same ladies are sweet as pie when they are trying to gain your service, but not as sweet when you are BCD.
Met a lady with great reviews last week; had a mix up first time around (her fault) and the second time was way less than her reviews suggested. She tried hard but it just was not what the reviews suggested. I have yet to write the review. Why? how much was that me - and my own head not quite being into the session and how much was it her. I would thought she was really quite good, her incall was just terrible. So at this point I have decided to not write a review as I know part of it was me.

As for the person who suggested a provider can delist if she doesn't like being reviewed, it's not as easy as you think.
Here are a couple of VERY easy ways to delist if Admin ignores your request.
Write a self review and allow yourself to "get caught" TER will delist you immediately
Post a "no review policy" on your ads and/or website and then report yourself, that too will get you immediately delisted.
There are several other ways to get yourself delisted, these were just a couple of them off the top of my head.
TER reviews are a double edged sword, I too don't like the degree of graphic detail required to get a review here approved which is one of the many reasons I have never written one.
I can't imagine the feeling of providers with this. I mean I'm sure some may talk about us as hobbyist. Good or bad but there isn't a place to review us. It's one sided. I have had better connection with some providers than others. I don't like to penalize them. They provided what they advertised and I have never been disrespected or felt ripped off. So I always give the provider the respect and point out all the goods. I might mention the small things where maybe wasn't a connection ect. That shouldn't reflect on them.
Aslo I am fairly new to the hobby and reviews totally helped me ease into it. I also got a better idea of what to expect. Or how to start a session. I def know some people write reviews over the top. I try to keep it realistic. And so far all my meets have been smooth and fun.
And a side note I was in Texas this past week. They mostly use eccie instead of ter. Alot of them offer specials for reviews. Not sure how they make them do reviews or just trust them to review. But I feel that's also manipulating reviews. I think reviews should be honest. Don't have to get juicy details. Just basic info and recommend or not.
To go from your point about the erotic novel writing style, i just recently got my first review and I think explicit details and making it sound like an erotic novel is kind of unnecessary but that's just my opinion and I feel that we obviously know what we're all here for so I don't see the need to go into explicit details because every experience may be different you don't want someone to read a review about you and think oh well in this review this guy said he did XYZ and then when you get to the appointment with that person you expect the exact same treatment it's all about comfortability what you may do at one appointment may not be what you feel comfortable doing in another. me personally I don't like the kiss-and-tell I think it's tacky and again just unnecessary.the review should just be about whether or not the person looked good, was on time, acted well, was professional, was clean and/or bring awareness to any safety/ environment issues or concerns etc. your basic details. I don't think they need to know every single detail. so to go into the intimate details I think is just a bit much again in my opinion. I wish we had the option that if there was a review we didn't care for or felt was inappropriate or inaccurate we could just choose to display or not display it. And I do wish that we could review the hobbyist as well.
While your first review was pretty damn explicit, it's a good review and should serve you well. The reviewer was very complimentary of you and had a great time. I have some reviews mostly from YEARS ago that made me cringe because of the explicit terms and general tone of the review even though they were good reviews. It goes with the territory.
At this point in my biz, I see people who I really click with and I feel we are on the same wavelength. Kinda simpatico if you will. You are in the process of getting established so your first review is a great start and shows you are a pretty, fun sexy gal. The guys here will pick up on these traits and want to book with you IMO.
You are off to a good start here and I see good things coming your way in this biz!

I recently had a bad experience reviewing a provider and it has led to having second thoughts about this site.
More on that in a minute, but first and foremost the new TER guidelines requiring certain acts be performed to get the highest scores is ridiculous and bordering on coercion. Not everyone is into all the items on TER's checklist, and even if they were, not every session should necessitate rounding all those bases to achieve the highest score. If every encounter isn't unique you're doing it wrong. I've had 10 experiences that don't come close to meeting TER's 10 guidelines and that's a disservice to both sides of the hobby.
Back to my experience, I recently negatively reviewed a popular, and well reviewed traveling provider. Due to recent dental work she and I did not have a mutually enjoyable session. Without too many details imagine a session with a painful mouth. Not good. When I honestly reviewed this provider she wrote several nasty messages and "blacklisted" me nationally. If that's the result of providing an honest account of a bad session why risk being honest?
As for the erotic novels, most read as bad fiction. Spare the flowery prose and stick to the basics please
To clarify, it was she who had the dental work.
