On my third week in Italy and I can't tell you how much I miss the voices of home. Sure the accents here are nice, but there's nothing like hearing "sweetie" in a southern US accent. Thanks for the link!
That was good. I brought a friend down here from Minnesota and took him to dinner with some friends. One of the women kept calling him "Honey" and "Darlin" and "Sugar Pie". Scared him to death. He'd never heard a woman talk like that. "What does she want?", he whispered to me.
