In town for a meeting week after next and I am looking for recommendations on a companion for dinner and dessert. I am staying downtown (Francis Marion) and need somebody who knows the local restaurant scene. I also hate to eat alone.  I am here for only 3 nights and I'd like to see what the fuss is all about (Conde Nast has a great write-up on Charleston).  Any recommendations for companions would be appreciated.
