... I was thinking about popping up there next Mon & Tues(9th & 10th).
  Where are some fun places to check out while I'm there? Any suggestions are appreciated.

If you like to shop.... Concord Mills Mall, I-85 between Charlotte & Concord. It's freakin' huge and has a little bit of everything.

As I type this, I'm about to head to The Mens Club, for some upscale dinner, drinks and T&A. lol

Uptown Charlotte is fun, lots to do. The Epicenter has a lot of bars and places to eat, nightclubs.

Southpark area has a nice mall, lots of great restaurants, etc.

Ballentyne area is in south Charlotte, and has dining, shopping, various entertainment.

If you're going to be downtown, theres lots of places within walking distance. Lots of nice restaurants, pubs, nightclubs, even some shopping, etc. The Epicenter is a very popular place, with lots to do. Everything I just mentioned above. If you have any specific questions, you can email me.

There's also the Discovery Place and IMAX theatre there and also some Clubs like Whiskey River(owned by Dale Earnhart Jr.) and a New place in North Downtown called Music Factory along with The Fillmore and club next door called Halo.  Also there is an area known as North Davidson(NoDa to the Locals) that has some places too.
