Hello everyone, I usually do not vent on public boards, but I will have to this morning. I am Phaedra Porter, well known provider under the radar. ( I do have reviews on this board)  As I am sitting in my pajamas catching up on the latest news on CNN, I take a sip of my coffee and one of my clients here in Raleigh has informed me of someone using my pictures on Backpage. Hmmmmmm, here we go again, for just two weeks ago someone uses my pictures in Virginia, and a client of mine in Virginia was nice enough to let me know. Now at first, I took it as a compliment, as both of their ads stated: pictures are 100% me and recent? Give me a break! aaahhh

For some reason though, there is never an email to reply to, just a number, and when you call the number ( Hell yes I have called) it just rings, no one ever answers and then it will say "You have reached a voice mail box that has not been set up yet, or "You have reached the voicemail of 000-000-0000. This is what I heard on the last post. I have caught so many girls using my pictures and claiming to be elite and upscale like myself? Okay, so what are your thoughts TER? I don't want to put my name on my pictures, because I don't like the way it looks, but why have I been targeted the last 3 months over 5 times?  I think that I do have nice pictures, but they are not that nice to have been attacked like I have been the past few months. So guys if you see my picture anywhere and there is no email and/or no site, it is definitely NOT MOI! I always post my email and site, always. Guess to make matters even worse, these girls are under $100, Sweet Baby Jesus, I think I am about to faint...lol...What gives, Im making another pot of coffee.... Has anyone else been going through this lately? Any advice?

THEN TO MAKE MATTERS EVEN WORSE, I FORGOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT IN THE AD, EVERY SINGLE PHOTO IS ME? DAMN I AM USED TO ONE OR TWO BEING USED, BUT ALL FOUR?

THE NUMBER SHE USES TO ADVERTISE: 401-497-9803

Hi Phaedra. You do not know me, but I am a friend of your friend "Mi".

I have seen the BP ad below, in CVille, Hampton, Danville, and Richmond. I assume this is really you since it links to your website? I have not come across any of the "scam" ads you mention and I do browse VA BP ads pretty regularly. I will keep an eye peeled, and flag those ads if I see them.

And threads you can search that will explain how to contact the ad site and get the photos removed.  There may also be ways you can code your photos so they can't be lifted.  The PO Board would be a good place to ask, assuming you're a member there.

logical that anyone using your photos without actually being you would be a Pseudo-Phaedra.

whose pictures have been stolen. When you put your pictures on the web, there is always a chance that someone will steal it. Nothing works 100% if the person is smart enough, but there are some things you can do:

There are a zillion ways to save an image from the web. The most common that people know is right clicking on the image and saving it to their desktop. You can ask the person who designed your website to disable right clicking on the image. This can provide you some sort of protection.

Additionally, you can ask your web developer to password protect your images, and then you can provide that password to guys who have been screened. This may affect your business, but certainly can provide additional protection.

Unfortunately when you post pictures on the internet there is always going to be someone who is a thief that will steal those images.I have had to deal with my pictures being stolen on more than one occasion.
I even had a highly reviewed provider who is on ter steal my pictures and her profile says her pics are accurate yeah just not her!
I have been watermarking my pictures for years I would suggest watermarking your pics even if you do not like how it looks. It will cut down on your pictures being used not a surefire solution but better than nothing.
Watermark your pics with your phone# or website.

Also,I would suggest you regularly check your pictures through google images to make sure someone is not using your pictures on another site or city.
One piece of advice I have learned just by reading about other providers in this same situation not to contact the person using the pictures. These people are thieves they are not going to just remove your pictures if they have enough nerve to try to pass it off as them. These people will yell and threaten and they are the ones stealing!I contact the website where my pictures are being used and handle it with them.I have never had an issue having my pictures removed that were stolen and being used by another provider. There is also sites that steal our advertisements/pics from other sites and use them on their site to try to drive up traffic.
Good luck to you I know it is frustrating.

A pretty decent quality 14mp digital camera (Nikon or Canon) for example run as low as 70 bucks to 100/110 tops! Seriously.
Unless they are totally busted looking I just don't get it.
