Finding the money and time to play takes some planning on my part.  When a lady posts one day that she will be available in my city the next day she is basically wasting her message as far as I am concerned.  I recognize the ladies are trying to protect themselves but do they think we all have no other life and pots of money hidden away.

I usually do not send someone somewhere unless I have 5 days to a week to post it. Sometimes posting rules prevent me from doing so, but I always try to give atleast 5 days to a week for planning etc on your part.

Whether I am touring or home in NYC.. I always post up to two weeks ahead...and then again a few days before.  Notice is the key...although yes at times it still doesnt work out.

Yes, posting "I'll be around for two days the next two days" is kind of a waste. I'm sure they have a reason for doing so, but from my view, it's hard to be that spontaneous. I'm sure they know their business better than I do, though.
