Jessica, I am with you. Though my musical passions growing up was primarily rock, I watched Don's show every week. The musical diversity that he displayed was second to none. Watching the dancers, especially the regulars, was so cool. He will be missed.
I grew up in a lower middle-class neighborhood, and soul music had an impact on my life. Loved to boogie with the girls in the neighborhood! I became a hard rocker, but, long live funk!!
