We are incredibly visual creatures, pro photos are great...if you are a model type.  The right photographer can probably make me look like...well, let's not go there.  The point is, photos are great, but if I come to see you and am all hot and bothered by the way you appear in them and then...well...you get the picture. I think the rule should be cast yourself in the most favorable light possible without being misleading.  Personally, I like candids, phone pics etc...chances are that's the way you probably will look when we meet.

Hello, Gentlemen and Ladies!

Independent provider here, getting ready to update my pictorial portfolio.  I am wondering what the gentlemen prefer -- pics taken by a pro photographer or images more 'home-grown?'  Also, what's missing out there (if anything) that you'd like to see? And what is it that you are tired of seeing? Wait. Is that possible? Let me know!

The pro to show the possibilities and the high quality home grown to show the reality.  You'll notice I said "high quality home grown".  Camera phones don't usually get the job done unless you are running a blog.  

You might think about supplying a decent digital camera for some of your gentlemen friends take shots of you in their favorite outfits and favorite poses. You can use the ones you are most comfortable with.  You might even reward the photographer with one thats a little more risque' than normal.  Classy with a hint of the exotic is always good.

"home grown" if high quality. What I don't like are the photos that are touched up so much the person looks different. I have had enough of the glamour photos to last me a lifetime :(.
