that some women still appreciate that.  You wont believe how many scoldings I got at the university for holding a door.  I might as well spilt her cherrios.  I was even called medieval, this is the 21st century.  Thank you.

My idea of a real woman is one that allows you to open the door,  pull out the chair,  drop you off at the door,  and '' take care of you'' through all of life's little problems and yet makes you (the guy)  totally confident that when push comes to shove and you can't handle it any longer-----she will save you!

When you know that she appreciates it, and you also know that she does not need, nor require it!  There is nothing more sexy to me than a woman who strong and independent, and can still graciously accept a helping hand or courtesy.

That was how a Gentleman was supposed to behave to a lady, holdin doors and such. It's the way a Southern man is supposed to be brought up. There is something wonderful in knowing that you are with a strong independant woman who does not NEED your help for anything, but graciously accepts a gentlemanly act for what it is (manners) when it is proffered....
