I have a question primarily for the Ladies on this board. I am a hairy guy, I shave my head, no facial hair, and the nether region is bald (SO never sees that area). My question is more about my chest hair. I have trimmed it down to very short, but I am still self conscious about the way I look and feel. One lady told me it felt rough, and that bothered me. I am tempted to just shave it bare.
I realize this is very subjective, just as things we see in women. I am just looking for some thoughts on what some Ladies prefer. Bare, trimmed, or natural? Thoughts, comments, smart remarks?
Thanks for the thoughts Ladies. I am just so self conscious of feeling furry, it bugs me. Sounds like I need to work on myself mentally, and not worry about the hair.

which gives something that looks like rug burn… and it stays for a while. My skin is sensitive, but I imagine I'm not the only one who deals with this.
I'd suggest leaving the hair there. I don't mind chest hair. When I was younger I did, but lately I've really liked men who look like… men. Hair and all. (On the chest.)
My Dad had chest hair when I was growing up and I wanted to be just like him. I can remember running my fingers and curling it around my fingers whenever I was sleepy. I would fall asleep in his arms and he would tuck me gently...............and I felt safe
I worked at a gym after collage and got to know many on a personal level there. All I have to say is I think it is sexy. Knowing me I would grow that hair on my chest and back, and let it keep me warm! It is your body, your temple and Me being a bit older and wiser, have found you just cannot please everyone. Just my opinion. Knowing me, If someone said something to me. and please do not get me wrong.......I probably would rent a Gorilla Suit to work, just to see people's reaction. Nuf said. Kelley White
Either it stay or goes baby, the in between hurts. The lady you saw was not tactful and I hate that she made you uncomfortable. Trimmed hair tends to feel courser has nothing to do with your hair If you let it grow it will feel softer and still fun. If you enjoy nipple fun keep that area shaved or shave it all. Smooth is also fun
had me get a Brazilian about 3 years ago right before Christmas. I thought I would freeze to death. I hate that some women don't like the hair, but damn, I won't be doing that again.
What women go through compared to us Neanderthal males is amazing. Waxing (including Brazilians - ouch!), shaving legs and armpits, makeup, pedicures and manicures, skin care, shoes, clothing choices that are 100x what men have to deal with.
I've always heard that women dress to impress other women, not to attract men. If that's so, how come it's usually so sexy to men?
Thanks. I guess I just need to accept that I am hairy. I am going to leave it alone and see what happens.
Thanks for all the feedback. The Carolina Ladies are the best, wish I could meet everyone of you.

Yeah, it's always bothered me that women would go through so much, even though so many say they do it to impress other women. I certainly appreciate it!
I learn something new every day. I never thought about it. Growing up with 3 brothers and being the tomboy I was at the time and I guess I still am. I don't remember ever dressing to impress another woman. That is definitely food for thought. Thanks for sharing. Kelley White
