I posted something about visiting Charleston in another thread and got a response that Charleston was a dead city when it comes to the hobby.
I was wondering what the general impression was from the Ladies with regards to Charleston vs places like Greenville or Columbia. I understand the draw of Charlotte but why do you think Charleston is such a bad place to visit?
More curious than anything and would appreciate more intelligent responses than "Charleston Sucks!"
But...it is FAR from Raleigh I've had a blast each and every visit. I think it's a great place to tour. Columbia for me on the other hand was always uneventful. Greenville, I love. I wish I could visit again. I like some culture, wine and dining when I travel. For me it has always been what the city brings to me more than the economic package! I love Charleston. I once enjoyed a weekend that included The Cooper River Bridge Run. What a Fun and Sexy weekend. Great shopping, scrumptious food, history and culture, sexy fun and a run!!
I have toured three times...I have some great regulars down there...2 or 3 whom I adore..but with my experiences down there..the gentlemen like to try and haggle pricing WAY too low...and alot of scheduling and then canceling last minute. I am not saying Charleston itself is horrible..my and some others ladies I know..experiences were not up to par
My experience is with Gentlemen 37-79 They don't usually haggle or cancel. It also has to do with my age. I am 54. I don't attract as many younger clients like younger providers attract. My rates have remained constant for the last 3-4 years.
If you can see 2-3 clients in a day and pay for your room, the pay is still better than most Engineers in RTP. One way to look at it But I hear ya.... XO
I'm just trying to give some intelligent input to a topic of discussion. I'm giving my experience with Charleston. I screen for with every client, along with other criteria. My input I thought could give insight as to why I don't get ripped off, haggled or have a high rate of cancellations that would keep me from touring Charleston. I do believe younger providers have more issues wigth this type of behavior because they can betaken advantage of and also because they might attract younger clients who might not respect their time or can even begin to pay for it. Charleston is not as seasonal as Myrtle Beach. There is more Industry besides tourism that attracts traveling Gentlemen. Not to mention the Gentlemen that live in the area. My other point I tried to make is this. You can sit at your home base one day and not make chit...or you can travel to Charleston for a day and make as much as a Junior Attorney.
How about this question? If it was given that you could see 2-3 friends in Charleston on any given day, are there any providers that are willing to make the trip? I can't do it or I would for sure!!
It would be worth the trip...though I will only see two max a day when touring...early morning..and then evening. It's just hard for me to take off to Charleston.....I wish I could more often...the trip would be worth it for two dates and time on the beach! Lol.
one date for an overnight. Awesome! I've done it for an overnight, and for one longer appointment in the afternoon that includes dinner, then one in the morning. I am starting to get itchy feet now, remembering what it was like to tour. Yum!
I've experienced the same. Charleston is not much different from Richmond, in that respect. I think most of the guys down there are just used to agency girls, so that is why they haggle and cancel at the last minute. I love Charleston too, for vacationing. Tourists typically bring their families with them, and can't get away to see the ladies.
