who you saw one time, over a year ago.

What is the best way of handling that?

At first I answered because of the area code, thinking it was another lady I had seen more recently. She claimed she thought I was another person, and I didn't think anymore of it. That is until today when I got a couple more texts asking if I had ever lived in the city she lives in now, and how I enjoyed our time together. I have decided just to ignore any future text from her, but I have to admit it concerns me to some degree.

She lied.  I had to change phone numbers.  It worked well.

would have a different feeling if she just emailed me out of the blue. The idea that she still has my number after over a year still bothers me. If I had seen or a number of times I wouldn't have as big an issue, but this was one time for an hour. I'm single and have a separate phone, so I'm not real concerned about anything at home. I guess it just creeps me out. I would never think about using a provider's phone as the first method of contact if I hadn't seen them in a long time.

Ask her to not contact you anymore.
How hard can it be and why is that a problem???

Common sense 101!

I'm generally very low volume (once a month or so, often less than that) and stick with reputable, well-reviewed providers.  I honestly had a lady contact me the day aftern an appointment via email and said how she had such a great time, that we should do it again soon, how she was "drawn to me" and that I could be in her elite group of friends that didn't have to pay.  She said we could just hang out whenever I was in town and have fun.  I told her I didn't think it was a good idea and asked her to not contact me again.  I haven't heard from her since but it did catch me off guard.
