I have a serious question.

Well ok as serious as Roadie can get lol.  

The scenario,  you have a date. This is good,  Roadie likes having dates. You have a distance to travel, like an hour or 2.  Do you have a need to let the lady know your "on your way"??? Or do you just wait to get to the point she sends you to.  

Now this is not the confirmation, that should be done 24 hours before.  I always confirm to make she she didnt come to her senses and change her mind lol. And to make sure I aint losing mine.

I would say yes just to make sure you are not waisting a 2 hour drive :) I mean who knows anything could happen in 24 hours, or up untik you get to where she said to call.. It's always best to double check!! Be good @ being exxxtra bad!

Well nothing has ever happened as in a negative.  The ladies are all wonderful and ready on time and all.  And I really aint worried cause they would call if something went haywire.  I truly trust every single one of them on here.  I dont know -  it seems like a commom courtesy to just say I am coming.  Just for thier peice of mind.  I didnt word it right I guess.  It is just my need to let them know.  And I was wondering if I was just goofy.

Thats what I got from your post as well sugar. I was just anwsering from a different perspective on the situation. i guess maybe putting myself in your shoes.. But of course it is common courtsey to let someone know you are still cumming!! :)

Each lady is different, but I always like to hear from a gentleman confirming he is on the way if I'm hosting and let him know this. When I'm visiting a gentleman I always let him know I'll be calling him when I'm on the way.

I feel that there is a better chance of everything going smoothly when both parties keep each other informed!

MA I know your all about that.   Specially driving all  the way from NY.  I think I could guess what state you were in.   I even knew you made  it in safe and we werent scheduled till the next day.

THe boys  got strangley quiet lol.  But the ladies seem all for it.  There are many that like to know that I made it home ok.  And I like it when I hear from the ladies that are doing the driving.  Even a PM or email.  It raises the excitement.  And its nice to know they are safe and thinking of this old goat.

I agree with all. It is common courtesy to call when on the way to an appointment of any sort, unless it is across the street perhaps. This goes for my business as well as my non-business appointments.

And Escpecially if one is traveling that sort of disctance as you stated "an hour or 2".. Personally, I would call for two reasons. one would be to make sure she knows you are serious and allow her to get ready, two is to make sure SHE is seriously going to be there. I don't think too many if any ladies on this board have ever blown off a date, but (and this would be especially true if it was a first date), i would want to make sure the date was going to happen. I don't drive a motorcycle, so maybe the cost of gas is not a problem, but I wiuld LIKE to think that BOTH of our times are valuable...and common courtesies would apply.

I like to know that you are on your way for the date!
If the appointment is made that day for several hours later... call her when you get to the agreed upon point..

Sometimes we or you can  get the  date times confused and it is a good idea to make sure both parties will be there and ready.......

That some dimwit would show up an hour early????  As Bugs would say, 'What a maroooooon' lol  

Ok to let you all know a lil secret,  some dude went and took off for some ladies place.  Seems like he got his times mixed up.  And no he didnt call when he left, good example,  he just drives off and rides down the Interstate, totally oblivious.  Then he calls the lil lady and she is confused but makes like Jeff Gordon. She does a little check into her lil black book called her email and finds she was correct and he is like a dang hour early.  You would think she would clobber him, but instead she so gracious and splt the difference.  Thank God there wasnt a paddle involved lol
