So I get an email from a provider saying she's coming to Raleigh.  I check the ad and see she does outcalls and say "OK". I send off an email with my info and numbers of reviews, OK's, and referrals (I'm really starting to sound like a man who're LOL) and I get a reply that she has a two hour minimum .. Um OK, travel fees paid... Not unreasonable, AND that you be in a hotel. .. WTF!? Must be a mistake. So I send back an email saying that I'm local and was the hotel requirement a mistake? Nope. So 2 hours minimum, travel fees paid and a hotel room. What are references and memberships to verification sites for then? I'm thinking she really just likes the little soaps they have in the hotel rooms. LOL Yeah I know her safety comes first and the dozen of so girls I've seen are all foolish risk takers. Whatever. I'm getting off my soapbox now.

why wouldn't she be hosting? Not unheard of, I guess, but it is somewhat unusual.  

If she hasn't met you, it's understandable that she would be skittish about meeting at your place...which is way out in the sticks, down a long dirt road, far from where anyone can hear you scream, no?

Um no never lived there, but I did see that in a movie once. She advertised outcalls. My point was she should have said outcalls to hotels with travel paid and a 2 hour minimum. I get it. Girls have to make bank to cover their tour expenses.

Yup. I passed. I didn't bother asking about an incall. I doubt I'd be able to find a pink unicorn or whatever else she required. Sometimes I wonder about people.

I don't blame her for asking for a neutral site.  My last outcall to a residence in Myrtle Beach was a disaster.  Clearly we had different ideas on housekeeping.

...has to be one of the more dangerous situations for a lady, especially if she's touring and doesn't know the various neighborhoods. When I see an ad that mentions outcalls, I assume she means outcalls to a hotel, where there's a modicum of safety and sanitation (or, at least, certain expectations based on the hotel chain in question). I'm sure it was nothing personal, just normal precautions. It does raise an interesting point: the word "outcall" can mean different things to different people. It never hurts to get clarification before making arrangements.

Was she visiting with a car or did she fly in? Of course a lot of the local ladies prefer outcall unless they host at a static incall.

This hobby relies on mutual comfort with the verification process and location.  If either party is uncomfortable, then it's time to look for other options.  The safety issues -- both physical and privacy -- run both ways.  Nothing trumps having the kind of information that this and other websites provide in advance of even that first email or telephone contact.
