Hey All. I always hear about bait & switch and LE setups, but thankfully I never have had to deal with that (well, once but it was when I was just starting out). What do you guys do to ensure a provider is authentic.

My routine:
1. Check for a website. It is very rare that I will see a provider without a website. For some reason it appeals to me more than a bp or cl listing.

2. Check for reviews. I prefer to see women who have 3 or more reviews. With one review, I'm always skeptical that it may not be a real review.

3. Search her number/email in google. If it comes back with posts in other cities and seems fairly consistent then that is a good sign, she may be traveling. If it comes up with other names/photos i'm usually skeptical. I know some providers share phones, but I don't try to take that risk.

4. Check tineye.com. A WONDERFUL tool. If you don't know about it, you should. It checks the images to see where else on the web they appear. Often I will see that BP lady's have taken their picture from celebrities/porn/models etc. Even if all the pics aren't stolen, just the fact that 1 is will make me not trust calling  her.

Bonus- when I get nothing back from any of these methods. my last resort is to copy some text from her ad and search for it in google. Just last week I had that urge and I was about to call a provider who seemed TGTBT then I found her entire ad had been copied from another provider's ad.

But hey lol i ended up calling anyway. When its 1:30am and your traveling on business in another city searching the web for some company in your hotel, shit gets desperate. I figured, "hey, maybe they know each other". Luckily she said I was too young and wouldn't see me though.

However...if she had. I would have looked through the peephole when she knocked and if it wasn't the same woman I would have  just ignored her!  That's harder to do for incall though.

It's all about protecting yourself people. So, what are some of the things you guys do to protect yourself when searching for  provider that eliminate some of the worries concerning LE or B&S? Lets do a little show and tell so we can all have  great time hobbying!

P.S. I know some of you will say just stick with visible and well known providers (like the lovely ladies that post on this board), but there are so many options out there!

My first "go to" choice is TER. I check to see if she is reviewed, how many times, by who and how recent. If its someone that I know who does lots of reviews, e.g. CRTicas, then I feel pretty safe about her. If I dont know the reviewer or he doesnt have lots of reviews I just wait it out.  On the down side of that, Ive missed lots of great ladies. If shes not on TER or BD then I wont go see her. Which is unfortunate for both sides involved, but what can you do? I have had many providers turn me down because they couldnt contact my references, I can understand that,  know right where there coming from.
