There are quite a few people out there who are going above and beyond to make this a great board.  They have taken many of the positives of other boards and incorporated them into this board, with their own little twist.

So what is everyones feelings on it?  Do you like the new direction of the board?  Does it make it a more fun place to come visit?

I moved here from FL, a great board on TER with all kinds of banter between ladies and gents, and this board is starting to follow suit.  For me, my time here is limited as I am moving back to FL, but its nice to see all the new found life here.

3 that in my eyes need to be called out for their efforts to make this a fun place are Rae, Sweetamanda, and Graybeard.  Sorry if I left others out, these names just came to mind.

these ladies (and a very, very few others) in my opinion has done more to make this board come alive then anyone else on this site. It's been a lot of comparison to the Florida's board but this board could be just as good or BETTER! Participation is the key to Florida's board, even with Rae, Amanda, and Graybeard great suggestions, there are just a handful of responses from both hobbyist and providers (except for ads about where, when you'll be in what city or not). I probably pissed a lot of people off with that last statement but f##k it!- its only an opinion. I need to get laid!!!

I did notice that the florida board did seem more fun to read but not more so then the general discussion board.

I actually went to FL orlando area and posted on the florida board.

Got a big ZERO from it.  At least on TER Carolinas board if a lady says she is visiting she gets business.  I am glad on that trip I had other plans so touring was just a second option.

We market ourselves to get business not simply for fun.

Carolina Board is more open to sharing, the ladies here share, IMPORTANT INFO, clients and references. The gents share the ladies. We all have fun!

Florida is clickish and closed not so much into sharing.

I like Carolinas better and hope you enjoy your new home.

I am happy with the new direction of the board. Can things get better? Sure...but it will be a process and we are on the right path. A few weeks ago, I mentioned that the prevailing indifference in the Carolina Board was our biggest foe. That seems to be changing. I see there are more gents posting around, some of which I had no idea they where around. Awesome....

I also like the fact that some of the greatest ideas from other boards (mainly FL) have been incorporated. Nice to see that there is a clear acknowledgement where these came from but also a desire and need to add our little twist. After all, we are Carolinians....and that is the best thing we can be!!!

A few other names to the Honor Roll: Keri, Eden, Maddy, Steph, and Sexy Carolina. And of course, I know there are a LOT of SUPER HOT Carolina gals around 'cause I've had the honor of crossing paths with. I can only hope they will chime in. Someday, I hope...

Now, it's time for me to get some rest. 'Cause tomorrow, I shall meet once again a dear friend of mine from Tampa. And my world shall be rocked once again!

Thank you for your kind words.  Making this a better board will take work from all of us.  Despite Maddy's dissatisfaction, the more discussion we can get on this board as opposed to just ads will make it more fun for everyone.  I am disappointed at our meager turnout for this week's TA TA Tuesday but getting anything going takes time.  I appreciate anything you veterans of the Florida board can offer to help us Carolinians do better.  Ruddhass, I am insanely jealous of your visit with an old Tampa flame who I suspect is especially HOT.

I always like to give credit where its due Graybeard.  Just because I am more a Floridian then a Carolina boy doesnt mean I dont like great conversation on the board.  lol

Someone else had commented on how much fun the FL board was, and a lot of it was started by the Mod Sly.  Sly is a personal friend of mine, and even though he is, if any of us get out of line down there, he smacks us like he would anyone.  lol  Thats one of the great things about it.  We have a great Mod here, I think he just has more boards to moniter the Sly, so his time is more limited.

It takes everyone who reads the boards to contribute to its success.  I have had over 165 reads on my original post asking what people thought of the new direction of the board, and there are only 4 responses.  This wont do if we want to make it a fun place.

Keep up the good work and things will take shape nicely.  Till then...

that things are looking brighter on the Carolina board.....I have been "around" for awhile, mostly lurking and laughing from a distance, but I have recently felt the urge to get more involved....

I don't mind the "ads" too much...after all, that's why we're all here.  I would like to see more involvement in the daily themes we have tried to get going this week....

Tomorrow is BaDonka Donk Thursday (I think?)....looking forward to seeing some ASS, eh-hmm Rae and Amanda, and then gettin' me some!!

I've tried to post more conversation starters here for a while, but it just didn't seem to fly, so I fell into the "ad" mentatlity along with everyone else.  It is nice to see more participation on the board

I am alive and well....by a whisker! Yes, I had a super blast with this Tampa Hurricane. Next time, Graybeard8, we will chart a flight into Bucaneer territory! Perhaps Haya or Steph can be our tour guides...

I kick ass in Florida, but I've worked very hard at it. For the record, the one time I included Orlando on my Florida schedule, I tanked there as well.

I've found Tampa very receptive and I'm heading over the Fort Lauderdale in May for a M&G.

I recommend giving Tampa a try and I'll help you all I can. Did you ask for advice on where to go in FL before you toured? My first trip to Tampa was in Dec and since I was new, I placed an Eros ad as well as posting on the board. I got more response from my Eros ad that trip.

May will be my fourth trip to Florida since December and with the exception of two days in Orlando in January, I've been beyond well recieved. My May trip is 3 days/nts in Tampa and 2 days/nts in Fort Lauderdale. My Tampa leg of my tour is already prebooked before I even get there. Since it's my first time over to South Florida, I only have one prebooked date there so far.

PM me for more details and plan a trip to Tampa before it gets real hot. Alot of folks head to other cooler states during the heat of the summer.

Give Florida another try Maddy ;- )
