Birthday Reflections

I had a wonderful, quiet Birthday yesterday. As I reflected on becoming another year older, wiser, sexier and more self aware, I remembered running into my Grandmommy's arms getting Big ol' Birthday hug and kiss. I remember coming to the Carolina board to find a loving Happy Birthday wish from my dear sweet Rachel. I ache to hear their voice...to see their smiles, Oh how I miss them both so.

But as I am blessed with another year, I am too blessed to have such awesome women grace me with such a profound presence in my life. I am a better Me to have known them.
