f I have time on my upcoming trip to this unknown city, I'd like to take in the best Charleston has to offer! Any tips on hidden gems, or your favorite spots?

thank you for all recommendations

Shem creek has some restaurants on the water.  You can watch dolphins swim up and down the creek while enjoying lunch/dinner.

I've been there once and had a great time.

Shem Creek came up in a couple of note I;ve made! It's a go, thank you!

The high point would be me and you on the rooftop bar having drinks and then onward to private time!!

Anywhere downtown around the market area is good to visit. Lots of history. head to Sullivan's Island for some beach time. have a drink at Poe's on Sullivans island.

Good luck!

when you've just described my perfect date! You, me, a nicely chilled cocktail... then a nicely warmed up "cock"tail... what more could a naughty girl want?

Well then we will have to make it happen!! I"ll be in touch!

Wonderful! Please don't delay too long in visiting my website (Make a Date)--  my visit is only 2 full days, and I would hate to have to say no due to a previous engagement!

kisses,

T

Downtown is nice but I prefer to stay away from the main tourist area. Reds is my favorite spot on Shem creek. Laid back, nice outdoor space w fans and misters, and they allow dogs. There used to be 2 dolphins that looked like the escaped from SeaWorld  haha They'd jump and dance and spin like they were doing a choreographed show.
I'm not a seafood person at all, but there is something different about the fresh shrimp from the area, love em!

Folly Beach is another favorite spot, The washout for the beach or loggerheads for a restaurant/bar.
