..It wasn't a BP ad, tho'. It's another individually owned domain. No new info was posted to these listings outside of my own little brief blurbs that stated they were real/fun/great/mediocre/whatever. And only on my site. Info linked from my site was to their own TER reviews and BP ads. I'm still having trouble seeing how that could be an issue. I s'pose some folks are more "sensitive" than others. But in all honesty, most of the girls I know and asked if they wanted to be there were all like "Hell Yeah!!". Didn't ask the ones that got the bad press and don't care if they don't like it. They've already cost me enough. Response in email from hobbyist was like 99% positive.  Thanks for your input.. d:^)  Schneeks..

..Am I missing something.? Being somehow rude and don't know it.? In our area down here around Wilmington and Myrtle Beach, especially MB, the fake ads and bait-n-switch scams are rampant on BP. And that's about all we have. So after wasting several trips to MB and seeing the fakers starting to show with regularity on ILM, I threw a page together to list the girls I personally knew to be real. Even if just thru a casual meet or some such. And I listed a coupla girls as confirmed rip-offs (from several reliable sources, including ex-employers and co-workers, one of which I'm friends with). And that's about it.
Well, don't know who whined or what happened, but BP yanked my ads, and yanked the links from a few of the girl's ads. Even yanked one girl's complete ad. WTF.? I emailed per their request and the the following is what I got:

It appears that those ads were Flagged because the site does not allow ads of a Review nature.
Yes unfortunately it is not allowed because they can be considered slanderous against other posters. If you have a Review website though, and you want to advertise it on BP, you could put your ad in the Phone and Websites section.
..All I have is a l'il quick blurb about the gals. Nothing overly negative about anyone outside of the two rip offs. And all that says is "Avoid". So I dunno. Mebbe somebody else can see what I ain't seeing. Check it out if ya would. There's no advertising there 'cept for a TER banner on the main page. And I sure ain't gettin nothing out of it. Lemme know if I'm being a dick..  Tnx.  d:^)  Schneeks..

PS- Mods, don't mean to be outta line if this is. Just truly curious if maybe I'm being ignorant. Tnx..

that'll fight these bait n switch/scam artists, someone who wears a cape and represents a symbol like a FEARED animal.

and also drives a cool tank

..or are you just another "drunken" poster.? Hehehe.. d;^)  Schneeks..

And it was similar to what you are saying - someone put my name and picture, along with other legit girls' names and phone numbers, on a BP ad, and suggested that we are the good ones to call.  I believe the person who posted it - and I have no idea who that was (although I think it may have been someone I know because my name and picture were listed first - lol) - had every intention of trying to helpful.

But I kind of freaked out, as did at least one other girl who was listed.  Not because I don't appreciate the props, but because I try really hard to control my exposure on BP (and similar sites).  I do sometimes advertise there when I travel, but I always delete the ad before I leave that town.  It's about not wanting unnecessary attention, and low hanging fruit, etc.  I really don't want anyone else putting my name and/or picture on BP, even if his intentions are good.

There are lots of sites that publish our info without our consent, and they are very hard to control - there are sites that I have never advertised on, and yet my name, picture and contact information is very publicly displayed, often with outdated and incorrect rate info.  Luckily those sites are minor and really only pop up when someone specifically searches for me.  But BP is a go-to site for lots of people - legit hobbyists, thieves and LE alike.  I really would prefer to lay low on it.

but I think it may bother some, just because they (we) really like to control where are pictures are posted.

I did misunderstand part of what you were saying.

I must agree with Schneeky, the MB scene is horrible. With all due respect to the ladies that work that area, there are very few options for such a popular "get away" place. I understand its not Vegas but the success of nearly a dozen strip clubs should indicate that there is an adult market and disposible income floating around the area. I travel to MB every couple of months on business and have given up on trying to fing anything on Backpage. Now there fear of L.E. will keep me off that sight. As I've told Schneeky before, I have often tried to meet dancers outside the club in place of searching for providers. Although the success rate is low, its actually better than the dice roll you take with the "sight unseen" agencies or "bait & switch" ads. If you're picky like me, at least you can see what you're getting first. I'm not suggesting this is a better alternative, just stating my opinion of how difficult the hobby is there. I appreciate the attempt to weed out the scammers but I think more selection and more reviews will definitely help.
