People are always asking me, "Why Gastonia?"

Well, there's more to this little town than derelict mills and warehouses, rusted up water towers and simple values.

There's not much going on here. And that's a good thing. It's easy to keep your anonymity here. As far as my neighbors are concerned, I'm just a civilian. They have NO IDEA. The Boy Scout next door mows my lawn! It's an All American City and I'm living the American Dream.
