In the next week I will be cracking the proverbial whip on some of the more disregarded policies that have been overlooked. Please take a moment to look these things over and make the necessary adjustments. Starting November 1st, 2009, there will be no more grace period.

1. No special charchters in the headline of your ad. Things such as ~!@#$%^&*()_+ and others will cause your ads to be disapproved.

2. If you have a reference to Date Check on your providor link, the ad will be denied for "Link to an banned site". Save your emails to me, I have no idea why they are banned, those decisions are made above my pay grade.

3. We have had two instances where providors or agencies have had multiple handles and used those to post multiple ads on the regional discussion boards. Should you be caught doing something like this, I can almost assure you of being banned from TER. It is simply unfair to the others who are abiding by the rules.

4. Speaking of rules, yes your Moderator has recently made a few errors and denied ads for being the second within a week. I admit my mistakes and you may feel free to send me a PM and let me know how foolish/stupid I am. Not a problem, I'm not thin skinned so feel free. If I am to let one providor double post I must be fair and allow everyone to do the same. This is unlikely to happen so please just abide by the  and I will watch the dates more closely to avoid any errors.

5. The boards are designed for interaction and not for trepdation or rude behaviors. My job is to Moderate and not be somones defender, I must say that a few times this board has caused me to rise to someones defense and deny a posting because it was just outright rude and demeaning. If your having a bad day, I understand, I have them all the time. Just don't get on the boards and start making moronic and senseless comments about others. It takes away from the spirit of the board and the camaraderie of those who try to keep things upbeat.

Lastly, I think the Carolina board is probably one of the best boards that TER has. I am truely grateful to be your Moderator and I hope that you ladies and gentlemen enjoy yourselves while you are engaing each other on any particular day. Please always play nicely, we might not always agree but we do have to agree to always be kind to each other. Now..... if everyone will please get into a circle we can hold hands and start singing .......

Oh thank god the powers that be are banning the annoying special characters.  I don't need to see that here as well as on the last page when i am browsing the classifieds.  The Date Check thing is odd since many providers seem to use that as a form of verification, perhaps its competing with a service that will be offered here soon, oh well.

Does this also mean that we are not allowed to recommend that Newbies join that site for easier verification? We've always been able to steer them in that direction in the past.

Funtimes is a GREAT guy and I dont see your point in coming on here and bashing him. You always seem to stick your two cents in where its not needed. You are not even involved on this board..nor did much of anything when you were. Funtimes has kept this board running smoothly...the way it SHOULD be. He's a MODERATOR and has rules he has to follow just as well as we do. And I think he's doing a great job...better then priot moderators. Have a FANTASTIC weekend.

TER is about nothing BUT censorship. And being a MOD means you have to enforce that. Thats not Funtimes fault..nor yours. So I cant seem to grasp why you thought it was a good idea to come here and bash it. How exactly does the Carolina board effect you?? It doesnt. There's rules...and we have to follow them..or get off.

And I'm not sure what ya meant by giving me more credit. I do not throw people under the bus...I see nothing wrong with my voicing my opinion. After all I LIVE in the Carolinas and this board has something to do with ME.

I just don't care for someone calling me out like that in public.....

if the suggestion helps a newbie to get a date, then it's a business decision between two adults. We just can't have them on this site.

You didn't just find your balls, they have been there all along.
I believe, and I think many others agree, that one of the reasons there was a masive "shack-up" in moderators a while ago was that the boards were getting way out of control.
Some of the former Moderators, Fuzzy included, allowed things to get way to crazy on the boards and when enough people complained, they were "asked" to "move on".

I may be wrong, but you will never convince me that so many Moderators being replaced was a
coincidence.
