Just my opinion, the world of ther hobby is not really any different than the real world. Yes we deal with fantasy, passion, sex, yada yada yada.
For the most part what sends up a red flag with me is a gal with no reviews and a fella, allegedly, posts an AMAZING Rock-um, Sock-um review. Really?
What I am getting at is the way I have researched reviews to my advantage over the years is not really unlike the story of the old bull and the new bull. Anyone not familiar with that story google it and it will most likely show up for you.
What I am getting at is if a gal comes along looking promising then if I wait for more than a couple reviews to make a decision it usually leads itself to a wise decision.
Another thing is to see who is reviewing. Believe it or not there are reviewers who can get a bit carried away, not always intentional, but maybe a particular cutie really fits what the fella is looking for and maybe they just had great chemistry.
Just because I visit with a gal and give her a 10/10 does not mean another guy might see what I saw and feel what I felt. Many have so what am I really saying here??? LOL
People like it or not are pretty much the same in the hobby as they are outside of it. Some guys are great folks, they can write a review and it will be pretty much spot on. Other guys feel lacking in some way and make out what they experienced to be somewhat better than it might have been.
In either case it is just human beings being themselves. If you look at their lives outside the hobby they are most likely pretty much grandstanding in all kinds of ways there too.
Try as we might we are just plain and simple us, no matter where we go.
It is their memory though and they have a right to it.
Bottom line take it all with a grain of salt, look for consistency. Over time liars LIE! Over time spineless scumbags whose word cannot be trusted reveal themselves as clear as the long nose on their face. If you stick around here long enough you can get a feel for the undesirables not to trust as far as you can spit that are to be avoided and to stay far far away from. Providers and hobbyists. Again they are just people.
The result would be the same if you were hanging around them in civie life. People are who they are and will eventually reveal who they really are. Then you can decide if you want to befriend a person whose word is worthless or you can find a gem who might be a friend for life.
If you stay around long enough then it is likely you can make friends that can help you separate the wheat from the shaft.
Just my two cents worth for what it is worth, the way I figure it about two cents!
