The fall festival of the Society of Stranders (SOS) starts this weekend at Ocean Drive and lasts through next weekend.  Fat Harolds, the Spanish Galleon and other places will be packed with thousands celebrating the heritage of Beach Music . . . and shagging.

Oh the Spanish Galleon brings back memories for me. I danced there in high school and in my college days. they had a dj there when I was in my mid 20's who was from Greensboro named Vic. He was da bomb at mixing music. Oh those were the days.

Crazy Zacks was HUGE there back in the day... wish I was going to be there, I'm sure the weather will be FAB.

Naw, Steph  Some even think it is "Shagging On the Sand," but its the Society of Stranders, named for the Grand Strand.

Fat Jack's and the Bowery were my hangouts - I could never shag for shit but it was always fun trying.  Ever since then, a bikini top and hip huggers is the absolute hottest outfit I can imagine on a woman.
