Now she is 9 years old and I also have a 4 year old designer dog
I stopped touring around the country when the lab was still a pup
When I did take her with me I would book a suite or a Residence Inn
I basically decided to stop touring and stay home with my babies
Later when they grew older I found that my kids were the perfect surrogate parents.
My smallest dog is attached to my hip, and I just do the best I can to make sure they are happy.
If I travel for just a day or so, I have a pet sitter who will stay overnight with them.
I have taken them on road trips recently, staying a week in pet friendly vacation rentals. That is what I'll do when I go to Hilton Head in Selptember

I haven't traveled w my baby, she's almost 50lbs, not too portable haha. When I first started I worked out of a place where there was 2 little dogs. We crated them when guests were over and 90% of the time no one even knew they were there. Every now and then I'd get someone who didn't like dogs and it seems they always knew and would make a racket. They'd eventually quiet down and most people were OK, but it was a situation I would have preferred to avoid. Dogs seem to have that sense though...

I have heard some horror stories from girls about how men treated dogs they were aware were going to be at the incall. Though if I had a guy who would treat my dog like crap I'd prefer to know so I never see him again! Ha.

Actually I've visited several ladies though the years who travel with their pets. Matter of fact if I know the lady has a dog or cat with her I'll usually bring a little treat or pet toy . After all the easiest way to a woman's heart is through her pit bull !

Just give a guy a heads up

I had to with a new puppy as he was a baby. He came to 3 appnts with me and was fine. The gentlemen all knew in advance of course and greeted him with care. He was a beautiful lil guy and hard to resist. He's also travelled nationally with me to an appnt as well and that was fine to. Just a little more prep and care needs to be warranted. I personally could never resist a sweet furry friend lol

First of all, if God, The Creator, Keeper of the Matrix, whatever doesn't allow dogs and cats in Heaven, I will go elsewhere^..^ Probably a lot of lovely ladies there anyhoo:))

One of the lovely ladies that I reviewed elsewhere(I lost all those reviews when I chose TER) had a friendly lil white something or other, who went to its bed box in the corner, and I forgot it was there. Soon after turning my pet shark loose to dine on the lil lady's Kit Tay, while he(shark) was on his knees(EEEK! sharks have knees!), his nekked butt up in the air, oblivious to the world---guys you ever notice how the world goes away while "sharkey" is dining;P~~~ Butt, mid meal, lil buddy sharkey gets something cold on his hind parts! What the!!!!

I, I mean, sharkey straightens up quickly at the shock, and looks around at that cute lil thing smiling and wagging its tail that says "I like you!:)) Sorry, lil fuzzy one, you need to go in another room PRONTO!! The lil lady of my sharks attention and I got a good laugh out of that event that has made me request separate quarters  of the ones with the cold noses:))

I baby sit kitties and doggies of friends and neighbors every chance i get to come home(theirs) to for that big smile that I rarely ever got out of the wives:((   You know the story---Put a wife and a doggie in separate car trunks for a bit, and when you open them up, guess who has that big smile on their face that says "I luv you, even though you put me in that uncomfortable place:))" Make sure you DO NOT leave your buddy in a car/truck cab in this hot weather!!! Call 911, or shoot out the window to get them out, depending on how critical the situation!

Sweet Bird! I could just imagine the look on your face! :)

I have a cat but, I don't travel. She is half feral so, you wouldn't even see her unless she wanted to be seen!

and one time i had a guy blame his ncns on "when you told me you had dogs i replied that i was allergic, but i didnt send the email."

i have seen one guy that said how he doesnt generally like dogs, but since its my in call it is what it is. i have seen him again. he now kinda likes my dogs.

85% give or take of the men i see have dogs themselves (currently or previously) and will share photos or take trips down memory lane.

a percentage of my regulars bring my dogs treats.

my dogs are so well behaved. they sit on pillows under the desk. they dont bark or jump on the bed unless there is unwelcomed noise in the hallway or unless i am on the bed alone.

i have zero issues traveling with my dogs. :)

I've seen a few that had pets. Dogs and cats no problem but now a snake and I'm out of there, lol
Funny story, I saw this sweet young lady not long ago and she had a puppy. A cute little dude real friendly in which I started playing with him, he was cool. So anyway the little lady and I was into the moment and I was DATY with my feet hangng off the bed and I feel these little teeth and sharp paws grab my foot, and he didn't let go, oh sheeet!
Let me tell ya' even an old man can move fast. Morral of the story.....don't let anything hang off he bed when a pet is around, know what I mean? :-)

thankfully they have never done that to anyone, but even shoes... i just make sure they are off of the floor.

its just a combination of nerves, territorial, other scents.. and when someones gotta go, sometimes they just gotta go! :)

Alli - the way you completely captivated and held my attention for the entire time we were together, you could of had a pet skunk in the room and I would t have noticed - and if I did I wouldn't have cared!  You are amazing!

Ladies: Have you ever traveled and brought your pup along? If so was it an issue at all?

Gents: Have you ever seen a lady and her pup was present? Did this bother you or create any issues?

I am curious because I would love to travel a bit more but hate to leave my two sweet well-behaved girls back home with a sitter. They're pretty attached. On the other hand it could be possible that traveling with them in this fashion is bad idea. I would like to get a feel for others experiences.

 Thanks in advance!
