This guy set appointment gave me his two references so, i check his references they check out so we set appointment for today  at 12 he never called back or showed up !! Am a little upset because he never called me back in i wasted money  Ugh i hate NO SHOWS!!! But gotta look at the bright side!!!!
This rarely happens to me anyways i just will now better next time!! thanks for ter so i can let other know not to waste there mooney or time !!!

that I understand how you feel because it has happened to me twice with the same provider that is pretty well known.  I did everything I was supposed to & she just didn't show up nor did she have the courtesy to call. You know the old saying, right? "Do it to me once, shame on you.......do it to me twice, shame on me!!!"  Well, shame on me!!! HaHa

Time is precious for you as a provider & for us as hobbyists. You can't get it back. You lose valuable "roses" for your enjoyment when a "no show" happens. For me, because of my situation, it takes a lot of planning to sneak away for an hour or two of adult fun. So, a "no show" in my case means I probably wont be able to visit "Hobbywood" again for a couple of weeks.

We all understand that things happen & sometimes an emergency pops up. However, the courtesy of a phone call, email or text would take away a lot of the sting.

When you make a date it is like an appointment.  And you are giving your word to be where you say you are going to be.  Isnt someones word valuable?  And how hard is it to make a call and say I cant come?  Ok I can see that there may be hard feelings if I cancelled the last minute or maybe even the same day.  She probably blocked off time for me and now she wont be able to recover it.  

  I was driving to an appointment and hot heavy traffic. There were 3 multicar wrecks over a course of about 2 miles.  I sat in traffic for ever and when the GPS said its gettting close I called and left the lady know a good 45 mins to an hour before hand.  Luckily I made it just on time.

But like my friend I have been stood up a number of times.  I guess I have my own black list cause I aint ever seeing those ladies.

Was there any communication after you set the sppointment?  I would initiate something the day before to let me know that the appointment was good.  

Example:

1.  I contact you with a request and my references.
2.  You check my references and contact me back to let me know that things are cool.
3.  I verify the appointment the day before to make sure.
4.  If I have to drive for an extended period, I will sometimes call before leaving home on the day of.

Might be a little OCD on my part but I don't like wasting time and energy for a NCNS.

Sometimes as much as 2 months.  Think the shortest was a week ahead.  Thats why communication is so important to me.  I want us both to be 110% sure we were on the same page concerning date and time of our meeting.  If I don't have a warm fuzzy feeling about our meeting I'll keep emailing, texting, calling until I do.  That might make me a stalker or time waster in someone's eyes, but I haven't had the misfortune of being on either end of a NCNS yet.

You are a good guy and a gentleman.  I have never heard anything but good things about you.  

I also like the reassurance that the date is on.  Some ladies do want to be left alone until the date and I respect that.  But contact the day before isnt a bad thing, I think it is appreciated.  More so when you schedule out far in advance.

There was definite communication before the appointment both times (made the date a couple of days out) via email & phone. I had already been screened as well. Like some of you fine gents on here, I have strong references from well known & reputable ladies in the Carolinas so that was no problem. Because I am somewhat OCD like you Sphinx, I called a couple of hours before to confirm so I wouldn't waste a drive. When she didn't answer, I called back because I wanted to make sure we were on. Still no answer, but I decided to just go ahead & go anyway & I thought she would call me back or email me a little later. My instincts said no, but what to do? I never got a call. I got there about five minutes early & called. No answer. Waited until THE EXACT time of the appt. & called. No answer. Waited for 10 minutes & left feeling like a fool. I emailed her to ask why she was a "no show". She said I "spooked" her because I called "a couple of times" & she thought I might be L.E.  BULLSHIT, I thought!!! She had my references. Both ladies had already told me that they told her how nice I am.

She emailed me a week or so later & asked if I wanted to try again & she apologized. Being the naive, nice, horny nincompoop that I apparently had tranformed into, I said "sure. Let's do it." I know things can happen & maybe I shouldn't have called to confirm & it made her wary. So, made the date. Called a couple of hours before & she answers. Great. She says "see you in a couple of hours." Great. No need to call back. I show up.......call......no answer. Do the same drill 5 minutes later. Still no answer. I wait 30 minutes & try one last time. No answer. No text. No email. No shit. Shame on me for being stupid, right?!! I didn't email her this time.  A few days later I get an email with apologies & excuses.

Here comes my "Homer" side again........to this day I don't think she is a terrible person. She has many fans & has some very good reviews. I was a "newbie" to her & got no respect. She wouldn't have done it to a regular. That's ok ... I get it. HOWEVER, can you ever imagine how much I would have been bashed on this board had I done the same thing ONCE, much less TWICE.

Bottom line.......just be CONSIDERATE & let the provider or the hobbyist know if you have to cancel. That's all. No harm, no foul. It's just a matter of respect.

If I ever am a no show, you better call the hospital because I either had an accident or "someone" found out where I was going !!!!

That is extremely detailed and honest. I think you are totally on the right wavelength, and like you said, fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. I had this same experience or something close to it a few years ago when i fist started pursuing this little hobby. I learned my lesson as well. Waited in a hotel lot on two different occasions and finally gave up and left after numerous calls to the phone I was told to call. I diod not get the same "you spooked me" reply, more of " Sorry, I overslept or something like that"...So I actually got a bit spooked myself and stayed away altogether for a few years. Now I have decided that it is best to stay with known quantities (and qualities), avoid people who I don't know or have not had at least a few conversations with, and pretty much all the BP ads that are full of CAPS and SYMBOLS, and so forth. If I am ever late for an appointment, with anyone even in my own work, I always call. So I with you, call the hospital if I dont show...just rude to do a no show..for any other reason...just my two cents

Thanks for sharing your disappointment.  I like you would probably give one "benefit of the doubt" - unless I drove an extended distance.  Then, if she wanted a "do over" she'd have to be in MY local area. (Road Rage might set in)

To no show on Monica he is either dead, or switched teams.
