In honor of you. My ipod will be set with your songs today while I get my groove on!

I was lucky enough to see him play at a local park in Todd NC just last year..
I saw him twice, once at Merlefest and once at a local venue. He was an American original and will truly be missed. The world was fortunate to have him for 89 years.

He died from pneumonia after being in ICU in Winston Salem for at least a week............

He was old and tired and had an amazing life and has moved on to bigger things...............
