Have any of you ever corresponded with a provider thinking it was her, but find out later that it was someone else? Meaning the provider uses an assistant or screening service to correspond, set-up appts, post ads, and even post comments on social boards. This happened to me a few years ago...I thought I was corresponding with the provider and it turned out I was corresponding with her assistant. The assistant was actually another provider...wtf! I found out when I was having a casual conversation with the provider (the assistant) at a M&G gathering...she knew information about me that only the provider I thought I was corresponding to knew. So she let me know she had been working with the provider to earn extra $. It was very awkward!
So what would you do if you were ever in this type of situation? I know some ladies use assistants and even screening services...but it would be nice to know up front who you are dealing with. And ladies do you feel you should let the guy know you are using someone else to correspond?

not to get all flirty in those emails (if being rather pathetically contrived isn't reason enough). Not to mention stories I've heard of the "assistant" turning out to be her husband.
I think the lady should always be upfront and let the gent know if someone handles her calls besides her. Myself I handle my business alone and I don't have a problem corresponding with the gents that's why I have the live chat feature on my website!! Sorry that happened to you...

Sometimes, I have had the provider. Sometimes its an assistant. While, I agree with you it would be nice to have some repore with the provider. But, as I have recently been made aware of. Not all providers care to have much of repore with possible clients. Just with established ones that pay them enough to care. In all honesty, I've been luckily . Ninety-eighty percent of the providers I have seen. Have been kind enough to take a little effort to make the overall GFE experience something special. I mean no offense to anyone. My experiences have been .. my experiences.
...the information I shared with the provider (or assistant) wasn't so secret I couldn't have share it with a stranger. Basically we (the provider & I) were having scheduling issues and I told her my schedule was crazy due to my frequent business trips to Europe and I would try again when my schedule settled down. And for the record the provider canceled on me twice...so I gave up trying to see her again.
The reason I mentioned this is I recently corresponded with a provider and I suspect she is using a screening service or assistant to correspond and post. I asked her about it and she insisted that she doesn't use a service. No real personal information has been shared other than the usual reference checking stuff. Some of correspondence we've had it appears she is either bi-polar or maybe even a different person.
