Yep, this should probably be on the "Sports Talk" but I thought the subject was catchy.

I've been watching the college fast pitch softball world series (women obviously).  Tonight I caught some of the college baseball world series (males).

The guys were spitting all over the place but I can't remember seeing any of the women letting one go.  So whats up with that?  Editing?  Directing?  Guys just don't care?  Women don't generate saliva?

Another thing...  The guys aren't shy about grabbing the package to reposition the contents.  I don't remember any "adjustments" by the women.

Whats a 'farmers hanky'?

I think women and girls (yes even athletes) are just raised to do those things, the adjusting and spitting, in private or at least much more discretely.  Just my experience as I was in and around athletics (men's and women's) all through school.

In fact, we'd have contests to see how far we could gross the others out.

So maybe it's just the "boys of summer" who are vulger and disgusting?
