Thirsty, now life is complete... you B-Sox finally, after 87 years did it!!! And, they did it in class and style!!! I know you must be very proud. "Cheers" !!!! O2 P.S. NOW IF THEY COULD ONLY FILL THAT BIG HOLE !!!!
Gotta tell you thirsty, I saw the NY Rangers play the Bruins in Boston in 1938. I was just an eleven year old kid, but I remember the Kraut line with Milt Schmidt, Woody Dumart, and Bobby Bauer. NY Rangers had their own famous line of Neil and Mac Colville, and the third (I'm really straining now), I think was Alex Shibicky. Please forgive spelling. Those were the "good old days". Just about no one wore a helmet... not even the goalie, who was ... damn, can't remember. But the Ranger goalie was "Sugar" Jim Henry. It was in December and there was a cold wind blowing in from the ocean, and it was snowing. I think that that was the year that they started the "Big Dig".. LOL BTW, I think all these players are long gone. What an era for sports!! Ah! memories, O2
thirsty, there's only one of the three that is even worth mentioning, and that's #1. God help us if #2 happens, and #3, this project was doomed from the beginning. I hope you realize that 20 years ago, the engineers decided to surface, and they found that they were in Manchester, no not NH, but England. It was never mentioned, so they back-tracked, and surfaced again in VT. Last year they headed back to Mass. However, all is OK because just raised the sales tax another 2%. Isn't life in Mass. wonderful???
