Carolina Natives,  what are some "must see" attractions . I use to go to school in NC but haven't been here in a while .

I second the zoo. I always love going there. If near the coast the aquarium going to some light houses.  

And just south of Myrtle is Litchfield/Pawleys Island, which is very nice.

But I get what you are saying about the heart of Myrtle Beach-OMG, lol!

And I do love Wrightsville Beach and it's just a two hour drive from Raleigh.
