Have you checked out the US Whitewater Center yet? Plenty of water-based and non-water based activities. Charlotte can be a great place to spend time, but it's not immediately obvious.

Mind you, RDU is a whole lot more fun..

Due to some current events I know have NO PLANS. Eh, life happens.

I am now just mingling the area...shopping...window shopping...stopping...looking...rubbing my belly and tapping my head...and chewing gum.  

Yes, I am talented...but bored
