Big Bang Theory sounds like the title of a porno.  Gang Bang Theory sounds like the sequel.  :-)

Yes, she plays Amy Farah Fowler, Sheldon Cooper's 'friend who is a girl but not a girlfriend'.  One interesting note about the actress is that Amy Farah Fowler on the show is a PhD neorobioligist, while in real life, the actress has a PhD in neuorscience from UCLA.
