After reading Julias gymnastic post thought it might be kind of cool to learn more about our fellow hobbyists and providers. Or maybe I just sound like a dork oh well probally won't ever see a lot if these people in real life anyways. Thought it would be fun if the folks would tell something about their selves nothing personal just some unique life experience or quirk that makes you unique. Be kind of cool to put something with the personas we imagine behind the usernames here.

Baking naked in the summer sun.  When you've spent almost 4 years of your life under water it just somehow seems right.  Yeah..  I know its's not good for me but I love it.

When in high school, I started going to horse shows.  Now don't get me wrong, there were many pretty cowgirls, but I noticed that there were a LOT more beautiful girls riding English.  So I switched to English style.  All my buddies gave me a load of crap, at least until they saw all the attention I was getting from the girls :-)  One of the smartest things I ever did.  Some of my best young memories came from those horsey girls, and barns, and hay, lol!  Also went on to train horses and give riding lessons through most of my college years.  One of my students went on to become a prominent political figure.  So there... I feel all exposed now.

Dang I hear ya Ted that's pretty cool I was a bench warmer relief pitcher for 4 years. Best thing that come out of my high school sports time was the alumni games we do from time to time. Got to pitch a couple summers ago with my kid watching pretty cool feeling ( I lasted 6 1/3 innings ) it was almost surreal to be on the mound and seeing my daughter behind the backstop felt like that old guy they made that movie about. Was proud I had a little left in the tank for her to see. Never thought I'd be doing that again after 15 years. Had another game last fall and some of the girls I coach in softball came pretty cool and of course I struck out twice never will live that down!!

Believe it or not, more injuries happen in softball more than any other sport.

Maybe the alcohol doesnt help, but if it wasn't for that, most people would probably not play.

I would like to play in a beer league sometime. But we were playing baseball story wouldn't be as cool if I was throwing rainbows at the batters. Now the fast pitch ladies game is defiantly not to be made light of though. Actually spend most of my spare time coaching it. Ties up my summers but its a blast!! They keep me young. That's cool you still play ball running defiantly not my strong suit admire anyone who can still do it.

I was in Big Bend in Texas just last week.  It is absolutely breathtaking!

I will save the parks in Alaska and the islands for last -- they will be a great reward!

One part of my bucket list is to visit all 50 states of the good old USA and also go to the countries I really want to see.

So far I have been in 41 states, I put over 61,000 miles on my car in just short of 2 years.  I only have Hawaii, Alaska and some of the New England states left.

I been in 6 countries and I really want to go to Australia, New Zealand and Sweden, yet.

I been in Germany, Korea, Japan, England, Canada and Mexico.

Has anyone else traveled this much or have a bucket list like this besides me and NatashaLynne's National Park hiking goal?

Not caring what others think and just going with it are opportunities that don't happen often in ones life.

I have been in every state except Alaska...and somebody paid me to go! Backpacking the Kalalau Trail along the Na Pali Coast of Kauai nekkid as a jaybird on somebody else's dime was quite nice. Likewise the Jewel Basin in Montana, Muir Woods in California, Longs Peak in Colorado, etc.

I hate LA but it worked out that I was in Los Angeles the night OJ didn't kill Nicole, the day of the Northridge earthquake, the day of the "Rodney King" riots. They haven't connected the dots, yet.....

like "National Historical Park" and "National Military Park" and "National Memorial Park" etc.  Valley Forge, for example, is a National Historical Park.  Gettysburg is a National Military Park.  The National Mall is a National Memorial Park.

But there are only 59 "National Parks."  The most famous ones are Yellowstone and Yosemite, perhaps?  Yellowstone was the first.  I visited Yellowstone in August 2011 on my first cross country tour as Natasha.

My favorite park so far is Acadia, in Maine.  I camped there this past summer, and by the end of summer I was ready to move to Maine.  Literally.  If I had, I would probably be regretting that decision today (as the blizzard hits).

Yes it is I got a couple buddy's who play and it gets pretty intense. There's some pretty good sized guys that play too. Not dissing men's slow pitch but my story would have been kind of goofy it it had been that versus baseball. Just can't stare a batter down the same throwing rainbows versus a little chin music. Still love the women's game though I coach 9 and 10 year olds and how my 9 year old daughter can windmill a softball in the mid 40s amazes me. Really enjoy the college games on tv those girls get down and dirty there scrapers. No disrespect to the men's slow pitch leagues. But my story wouldn't have been as cool without clarifying. Actually I'd play slow pitch if I had the time
