The statements taken were interesting and it might be an example of LE not having enough evidence to properly prosecute, but it has gotten plenty of press nonetheless, given the size of the community where it is.  I've never met the parties involved, but IMHO, instead of trying to bust kind-hearted people and wasting taxpayer dollars, LE should spend more money on fighting REAL crime...  gangs, domestic violence, white collar, child abuse, etc.
