As with most addictions, the first step is admitting it… So here it goes…

I’m brown7, and I’m a cowardly, lurker who has mooched off the wonderful posts and lived vicariously through too many in the TER community for too long. So here are my 3 resolutions for 2010. (I figure putting them in writing will further encourage me to make them happen before the year changes again.)

1)Post on one of the TER boards at least monthly.
Ok, this is not much. But a man has to start somewhere and set the bar low. So in 2010, when I’m passionate about a strand or even when a post from a provider “makes my nature rise” …I will not sit back and let others respond. I will post my 2 cents!

2)Book and follow through with my very first meeting!
No more email blitzes or not following through with providers willing to work me.  I have allowed a few rejections due to my age, race, and/or self-employed status discourage me for too long. While they have proven to be challenges, they can be overcome! And I will overcome them in 2010 and meet with a fantastically patient provider soon.

3)Book my second session with one of my dream providers. Well folks, even lurkers develop wish lists! And my wish list includes several. But at the very, very top of that list are Rae, Dakota, and Lindsey. If any of you end up reading this, you’ll be hearing from me.

So, any ladies willing to help #2 happen can PM me! Any guys with words of encouragement, let them fly! And any lurkers willing to make a similar set of resolutions, step forward!

Of course as part of #1, I plan to post my progress!

Most of your posts will be welcomed, but, you also may hit some bumps in the road with some of the "regulars" on the board. Just let it roll off your back like water on a duck's back, and stick by your guns. Good luck.

the second time is always better. I hate it when you find someone you like then they disapear.  I prefer second encounters way more than the first ones.
