1st Encounter Experience

I had an encounter with a well know, highly reviewed provider a while back. She greeted me at the door in a sexy teddy, hugged & kissed me, then lead me to the bedroom and asked me to get comfortable. As I was doing that, I noticed two unwrapped condoms on the corner of the bed. One was a "regular" & one was a "magnum". My 1st thought was to tell her that she can put away the "magnum" because we won't be needing it. Then I thought, as things progress and I have to reach for the cover, I'm grabbing the "magnum" even if I have to put a rubber band around it to keep it on! If she reaches for the cover, the "magnum" will live to play another day! Well, as it turned out, she reached and, well, you know the rest of the story.
The encounter lived up to the expectation except for that initial "deflating" moment when I knew that she knew she wouldn't be needing the "magnum". As far as I can tell, this method is not common practice, but was wondering if I should start letting the "1st encounter" provider know to "lose the magnum" before my arrival?

I don't know who you are (alias), but the scenario you describe certainly could have been with me.  I usually keep both sizes in the night stand drawer, but one hotel chain I frequently use does not have traditional night stands with drawers, and so I sometimes leave supplies and toys in plain site.  And among those supplies are multiple sizes of condoms.  It has never occurred to me that this may bother a visitor, but now I can see how it may.  I will definitely re-think that approach.

Having said that, no, I do not think you should say anything ahead of time because doing so would violate the "don't talk about anything sex related before the meeting" rule.

I totally agree you shouldn't discuss it ahead of time for the reasons mentioned . . but I would just talk to her when you see her again if it's important to you and if she's a good provider she will welcome your openness and honesty of whatever needs you have. I always have a few options available but don't like to leave covers in plain site upon arrival even at my incall location . . so I strategically set up candles to hide them on the night stand . . but I personally had a friend who said he preferred a certain type of cover that fit him better after he tried a couple of my options and so I make sure to have those available and he loves me for it . . . or I have other regulars that bring their own because they know what they like and what fits/works and that's fine too :) I would just bring your own if you don't even want to mess with it! ;)

... so I normally bring my own.  I'm trying to find covers that work best for me and I don't want to put the burden on the ladies to carry something she normally wouldn't order.  I even have some FC, just in case the lady is FC friendly.  This approach may work for you if you are sensitive to the subject.

I try to hide the fact that I have both. Separate the two in a drawer (unless I'm checking in right at the start of an appointment, which I hate doing,) and grab one as the action gets going.

Don't like to leave them out in case I have the wrong type...

however, maybe shoving one under the pillow, say the smaller of the two, then if I need a magnum say, "Oh! Looks like we're going to need a big one for you!" Talk about inflating an ego, LOL.

idk. I think I just answered my own question.

I don't leave condoms hanging out and I wait until "the moment" to grab a condom. By then I can already see if he needs a small, regular, large, XL or "holy crap need to grab an FC2" and that's what I go for.
