I have been in the hobby about 5 years, just made my most serious error.  I jumped to conclusions, typed before I thought instead of the other way around.  Have always been more then respectful to all the Ladies I have met, just a major error in judgement in an email, and just want to remind, THINK first!  I didn't, and we all know how this ends, badly for me.  Think twice, type once.

Say you are sorry with a big bottle. It might work.

We all (or nearly all of us) do it at some time or another.   My advice is: don't take any advice from anyone here.   Do whatever YOU think is best, whatever that is, and just "be yourself".    

I did apologize to her, but I understand  why she may not accept.  Just wanted to remind all to not be as stupid as me.

Words are cheap. Ciroc is expensive.  

But, our words go a long way in defining who we are.

I am not sure what was said, but I had a screw up several months ago, I stopped contact and then several months later I sent a very simple email on asking for forgiveness and explained to her how badly I had felt, maybe once the dust settles she will do the same, by the way she did agree to see me next month as I may be traveling to her town on business

I had no intention of this becoming about her.  This was a simple warning, that however long we do this, think first.  To those that believe I could "bribe" her back, I doubt you have ever met her, not like that.

I have met her and she is awesome, and I gave her a bottle as a "thank you."

And it's NOT a bribe. She's too wise for that and would see thru it in a minute. The gesture is just a way of saving you are really sorry. She may never see you regardless, but at least you would have acted with class.  

At least you did the right thing, recognized you fucked up, manned up, owned it, and apologized.
That's the best you could do.

There's a huge difference in giving someone a gift of thanks that you've met versus offering a token of remorse to someone you've never seen. While I can see the necessity of you providing bottles of vodka (the big bottles) to those willing to entertain you, it's very likely that waterboy55 is limited to email communication only, if that's still an option. Thus your personal experience with JLS is irrelevant.
