I wonder why? Extremely disappointing. Maybe I'm missing something.

With the exception of Wilmington everything is spread out and the hobbyists are cheap.  From what I've seen those of us who have the means to do so end up working in Raleigh or other places.  I moved from the Jacksonville area to Raleigh, huge difference.

Wilmington can hold its own, can't keep up with Raleigh. Many ladies here UTR. Some touring ladies don't stop, say not enough interest here. Then some stop on regular basis!  For the most part not to many gents are board members here and that can raise some issues! I do my part to extend invitations to ladies to visit here all the time, with some results.
 

There are two major marine bases. They are broke, and on military pay days, you will see a flood of BP ads go up with 60 dollar specials. I'm sorry, but you are not going to see me in an area where they think 200 is through the roof, and 350 is outrageous. I have even received emails from the few hobbyists in that area trying to jew me down saying the market in that area is saturated with cheap girls, which drives the market down. I kindly respond with "keep booking with them cheap girls then

I  agree with everything you say!

While I don't doubt that some folks would try to negotiate on rates, I'm skeptical that the inquiry would include information on the person being Jewish, Hindu, Christian or agnostic.

Especially during the tourist season, perhaps a lot of us don't think it's worth it.  It's better than the surrounding areas but like you said it isn't comparable to Raleigh.  Nice city though, Wilmington is awesome if you just want to have fun.

Hotel rates do skyrocket here during the peak of summer just like any other tourism spot along the coast, but as a local it is a lil bit easier to slide into an incall when needed. I have learned not to frequent them on the weekends or holidays.

I have had great success here for well over 2yrs now.  I keep a low profile, and the gentlemen I see are the same. Granted we are not Raleigh, but there are some great ladies that do provide here. I do think Wilmington could use a little more exposure. We are not all in our 20's...just for the party!!

I'm just leaving Charlotte NC to head back home. I have some very good luck there and will return. Maybe it's just me? I don't know. Maybe I hit a good string? The best part is I think I will get my first review out of this trip and to me that's worth it's weight in gold.

......both very good providers yet have a hard time working there.  They travel around more than working around Eastern NC now .... pretty bad (at least to them).

I am of Jewish faith;  I will give the provider the benefit of the doubt; and say that this expression was used out of ignorance, as opposed to maliciousness.  Many people have used that expression in front of me, not realizing my roots.  Of course, I defy the stereotype, as I appear Teutonic,  blonde hair and blue eyes.  And for the mos part, I do not trumpet my beliefs!
