Why are you in NC/SC?  A native?  A transplant?  If you travel frequently, is there a difference in the attitude/personality between these Carolina gentlemen and others?  It seems to me that the Carolinas board is more active than many others and I know there are some wonderful ladies here...I'm curious as to why you're here and not somewhere else.

I am located in the RTP area. In the center of many men!! The best place to be. Men fly in from across the country to see me.

I did travel all over the US. All the major cities and sights. Loved them all. I also visited their ballparks, museums and of course...shopping!!

I was born in Chicago and when I was 12 we moved to Virginia. I am a Vet, and have lived on both coasts and overseas.

North Carolina is an awesome fit for me. The gorgeous coastline and mountain peaks peek my love for nature. I also appreciate culture and diversity and there is no shortage of it in The Research Triangle.

And last but not least!! Since I love DUKE....where else could I be, but in Durham!

Love my Dukies and the rich rivalry and tradition of the local Colleges and Universities.

I love Asheville, Maggie Valley, Charlotte, Charleston :), Greenville and the Crystal Coast.

:)

Sexy Carolina

my grandparents :) Yes I am one of those awesome granddaughters who moved to take care of their grandparents.

I do LOVE where I live though..the gentlemen are awesome. And I'm two hours from everything..Charlotte, Atlanta, beach and mountain. Its perfect!

You have a kind heart. EOM

I went to High School in Eastern NC. I live in DC and am thinking about moving to SC.

Oh, and Im a HUGE fan of Duke Men's Basket ball! Since I was 13. So there is that....

And my family is all still there. I've considered moving, but as long as my grandparents are still around, I want to be fairly close by.

If it wasn't so cold up north I'd be up there in a heartbeat. I'm a sucker for a northern accent. ;-)

I am like Sexy Carolina somewhat.  I am a Veteran too.  I am called a gypsy by many.  I have been in 36 states and many countries.  I have lived in about 12 states in the last 5 years.  A lot more cities than 12 though.  I enjoy seeing many different areas of the USA and meeting many different types of people.  I don't like getting to settled or bored with a place and when I feel like I am I move on.  In fact, I have plans to move the beginning of December.  I am originally from Wisconsin and was there my first 18 years.  Haven't been there now in 5 years.  I find honestly NC people to be more down to earth, more relaxed and friendly in some ways.  It's hard to explain, though, so please don't ask me, its just something I see and feel.   At least that is what I have seen from my wonderful clients/friends.

I travel a lot and to some great places but I am ALWAYS glad to come home.
We have the best BBQ
Everybody smiles and waves
The Gentlemen here are adorable with their country accents and so very thoughtful!
Wrightsville Beach is only 2 hours away
NYC is 1.45 by plane, Miami is 2hrs, Vegas is 5hrs!
Went to college here, but not crazy enough to tell which team I pull for!
You get lots of space in your home here. Couldn't live in NYC for that reason alone.

We love our states and we love our girls. I havent met all of these wonderful ladies but somehow feel a bond and somewhat trust for those that have been here for a long time. One particular lady has been to my home many times and makes herself a drink or grabs something to eat without missing a beat. I hope to attend meet and greet with her. Watcha say AJ

You have always made me feel so welcome hun :) Can't wait to see you again!

I have lived in NC all of my life. I love to travel, but I ALWAYS love the feeling of that jet touching down at RDU and knowing I'm "home" again...

xoxo,

Steph

Great Post.  Have read the Replies and agree with them.  I grew up here so know what most of the Replies are talking about.  Also for me, part of my Family is from Pa so know of Northern hospitality but still can't beat NC Hospitality.  Women here treat Men well and in return we try to return the Favor.  Relatively New to Hobbying but from Reviews posted, most are favorable for the Reasons of the Ladies here.  Have traveled to other States so know of different places but still call NC Home.
