I am going to Canada soon on business. Was going to sample the local talent in the Niagra area. I was doing some research and the laws sound just crazy. So the way I read it,  prositution is legal but making arrangements with a prostitute either by phone or internet is ILLEGAL? How the hell does that work. Do you send her a message by carrier pigeon?  

Also, would an American get in more trouble for breaking this law (whatever it is) than a Canadian citizen?

But, I took a trip up to Toronto last November.  I made four arrangements over the phone.  No issues.  Good times all around.

Prostitution is legal. You can phone her from home, on your cell phone, and ask her to come to your house to meet.

Meeting at her place, talking in public about meeting her ( like a restaurant ), or paying her on the street and doing stuff in your car is illegal.

Mostly, no one checks if its done quietly, because there has to be some proof, and no one says to a cop, "I payed some agency, who told me they were pimps, to have sex with this woman, so arrest me please".

In summary - done quietly its legal. Making a big show in front of kids - not so much.

Plenty of Asians as well.  But...do your research.  Lots of B&S.  

My pm was recommending another ad site that is more popular in Toronto with the locals.  However, they do reviews also so I can't post the name here based on TER guidelines.  Just do a search for escort review sites on google.ca and you'll find several.  One is clearly more active than the others for Toronto.  Give it a whirl.  Plenty of good info to be had.  Nothing to worry about in TO if you do your research.
