I'm new to the whole provider thing, so new that I haven't seen one yet. I researched a bit and found a lady I liked, on her website it said she happily sees newbies. So I emailed and outlined I was a novice. It's been a few days and haven't got a reply of any kind back. Further looking and I found said she needed references and the like, which I don't have cause of the whole not having done it before thing.
What I'm wondering is it usual not even to get a reply? Even some sort of rejection.
Her time is quite expensive so would have a better service.

Hello!
Most replies would have been returned within the working day or at most 12 hours.  However this depends on what was written in the email.  If you sincerely outlined that you were new to the scene and wrote a polite email you should have been fine for a reply back.
That being said.  Because of the recent flood, and i'm sure alot of Toronto ladies had this problem last week, I lost my computer (and internet service) and had to rely on cellular service to reply to all my emails for a day or two.  However if I didn't have a generous data plan...I would have been in trouble.  Maybe resend that email to your provider again.  Maybe she could not answer due to extenuating circumstances  I wish you all the luck in your pursuit!
