I'm not too far, just over the US border.   Very interested in establishing a presence.   How is the hobby climate in this area?

As of this writing, the environment here is much better than in the USA. With the change in the law ~ 3 years ago, as a provider you are not committing any crime, selling services is no longer illegal. If you get caught you could get barred from re-entry to Canada, that's about it. Currently LE is mostly chasing down street hooker action - and going after the clients only. As a provider you would be asked "Are you OK?" and "How may we help you leave the profession?" (and get a job as a Walmart greeter!). You will be treated with sensitivity.

For the clients who stay away from the street, it's business as usual. LE is keeping a closer eye on hotels these days, some SPs have been thrown out when caught by hotel staff. Getting a rental condo instead is one way of dealing with this risk.

Rates are generally lower in Canada than the USA, but still pretty good for SPs and comparable to the US in Toronto for high-end ladies, and maybe even better in Vancouver.  Not sure how good business is in Windsor, likely a lot of Detroit ladies looking at it.  PM me re: advertising in Canada.

...there are lots of resources but a lot of boards we can't say on here as they also review boards. I will be touring the U.S. a lot but I still have my Canadian and Australian resources (as Sydney will be my secondary base to Montreal).

I know a lady who came to Canada frequently for many years. It seems a client became disappointed in her - to say the least - got her personal info  - and her next arrival date - and passed this info on to Canada Border Services.  

When she arrived at the border she was intercepted and got a real shakedown and grilling, the agents went through her luggage and phone. The female agents were real bitches, she told me, the guys not so bad, even chuckling. The lady was sobbing profusely from the humiliation.

The poor girl got a two-year disbarment and the threat that if she tried to re-enter Canada after the ban was up she would get a similar shakedown.

Lessons learned:  
- keep all your info away from the clients, no matter how nice they are.
- Pack your suitcase conservatively, no sex toys or sexy lingerie when you crossover, stash that stuff in Canada.
- Delete your browsing history from your phone and laptop i.e; no links to TER, Switter, and so on.  
- With your phone, best is to back it up to the Web, wipe it clean, then reload in Canada.
- Have a second facebook and twitter account that matches your real name and looks clean, they will ask for these accounts to see where you have been and who you talk to.
