Okay.... so here goes, although I'm no lawyer or legal professional (please, someone correct me if I'm wrong). As I understand it, the laws in Canada are currently 'in limbo' because they are under challenge in the Supreme Court. While the laws are still technically on the books, it is still unlikely that they will be enforced. However, even under the current laws - OUTCALLS are technically legal in Canada. This means it is legal to have an escort visit you in your hotel or condo or home.

IMPORTANTLY you should know that it is highly unlikely for someone to encounter legal enforcement if you contact reputable providers (ie they have a website and reviews etc) and make appointments with those providers.

I visited Toronto last November and the toughest challenge was crossing the border...back to the states.  Stick with the popular agencies or well reviewed Indys.  BP doesn't necessarily have the LE risk it carries in the states....but, B&S or similar scams still abound.  Don't let your gaurd down because there is a relaxed legal environment.  Still plenty of ways you can have a bad day in this hobby.  

I had a fantastic time when I was there and can't wait to get back.  The lovely Ms Laroux is on my dance card when I do make it back.
