I am here right now and had a nice vist at my downtown (Centre Ville) hotel.  I have stayed at several hotels around the Bell Centre and have had no troubles getting someone to come for a visit.  Most of the big chains are here.  I have used two agencies up here - Asservissante and Eleganza.  Both have been great.  Young thin girls with that great accent.  I'm like a kid in a candy shop (or perhaps a bull in a china shop?).  Have fun.

I just stayed at the Hyatt Regency last weekend; not sure if the ladies I saw "preferred" it, but there certainly weren't any problems.  The one thing I was worried about was the elevator requiring a room key, thus requiring me to meet the provider in the lobby.  Luckily the Hyatt elevators do not require a room key.  Have fun, truly unbelievable value up there.

Been going to Montreal since I was a kid.  IMHO...Stay at the Hotel De la Montagne on Avenue de la Montagne.  It is extremely provider friendly.  Great Piano Bar where a lot of agency girls will hang while awaiting calls but very tasteful.  They have a great restaurant, nightclub and sports bar that is mobbed before every Canadians game.  

If you cash in while you are in Montreal, Ogilivie's is 100yards from the front door.  It is the Neiman Marcus of Montreal....with a private Louis Vuitton Shop.
