ok, first of all, i'm an east coast spoiled brat, i admit it. i moderate the NYC and ISO TER boards, which supply constant reminders of the worlds finest providers...

but, i just got back from a fascinating business trip to ottawa, feeling like a hobbiest lost in the wild...

while there, i followed up on all 3 TER reviews and each was busy for the evening, but based on the pics i wasn't that excited about any of them...

i tried a few web searches, called numbers in the yellow pages, and i had a few depressing conversations with "facilitators", who described very slim pickings...one provider suggested i go across the river to quebec, which is "known for its houses", and "just like NYC"...right, like Julie's opened a franchise

well, i'm not heading out in the freezing rain to experiment without some good advice from a fellow hobbiest or two, so please help. i'm going back monthly for the next 6 months, and i'd like to come home saying good things about this outpost and the hobby we all love....
