Best Japanese Restaurants in Van

I will be visiting August 2nd- 7th.. Anyone have any recommendations for great Japanese sushi and/or Izakayas? I am huge fan of all Japanese food and I want to make sure to have the best!

Hi there,

Happa Izakaya on Yew and Cornwall in Kitsilano is good ;) Nice location after a long walk on the seawall coming from downtown.

It's actually called "hapa beach", probably part of the Hapa Izakaya chain of local restaurants. I will have to try it out myself, lots of funky restaurants around there done in the style of Venice Beach, CA.
